The included breakfast was very decent, with a variety of options like juice, coffee, cake, toast, and ham/cheese. The location was really good and reasonably quiet, but still had parties/events on the weekend. The staff was extremely nice and helpful, going out of their way to make us feel welcome and becoming our friends. a great experience!

The kitchen was small and dirty, and there weren't enough showers. The beds were not comfortable and it would have been nice to have curtains for privacy in the shared rooms.

I traveled alone for the first time and was apprehensive, but the staff at Rio Forest were amazing and always helpful. The dorm room I stayed in was clean with working air conditioning. The views from the hostel are amazing and the location is great for exploring Santa Teresa, Lapa, and the city center. The terrace is perfect for breakfast and evening drinks, and the bar is a big social area to meet people. a very enjoyable stay.

I stayed at a hostel in Rio which had a friendly and helpful staff that all spoke English. The hostel had a nice pool and bar area which was perfect for relaxing after a long day exploring the city. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the entire hostel was kept very clean. The location was central and close to attractions and the vibrant Lapa party area. I also felt secure with their good security measures in place.

I had a great value for my money at this hostel - clean, comfortable rooms with efficient air conditioning. The location was perfect, offering stunning views of Lapa from the balcony. The staff went above and beyond, always helpful and providing excellent recommendations. The atmosphere was welcoming and I felt at home during my stay.
